Pursuant to Act 187, the following persons may submit a written request to remove from the Real Property Assessment Division’s website protected personal information of employed or formerly employed “covered public servants” as defined by the Act:
- Executive or administrative head of a State of Hawaii department/agency where the public servant is or was employed;
- Administrative Director of the Courts for the State of Hawaii Judiciary
- Clerk of Court for the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii
Written requests must be emailed from the official email address of the aforementioned personnel to bfsrpmailbox@honolulu.gov by the 1st of every month, with “ACT 187” in the subject line. Each written request must include an Excel spreadsheet (click the download request form above) which lists the following information:
- The full name(s) of the covered public servant(s) or individuals;
- The site address(es); and
- The tax map key(s) of the parcel from which the information should be removed.
Please list one tax map key per row on the request form.
